A lot of users have reported that when they try to launch Cydia after jailbreaking iOS 9, Cydia does not open at all, and if it does, it crashes right after launching. Installing jailbreak apps and tweaks via Cydia is the major or perhaps the only reason why most users jailbreak, and this is the reason why the problem of Cydia crashing or not opening is a pretty big deal.

However, if you are experiencing the Cydia not opening problem or the Cydia crashing issue, then you can easily fix such issues by following the below-given steps.

How to Fix Cydia Crashing or Cydia Not Opening Issue

  1. Create a complete unencrypted backup of your iOS device using iTunes. Deselect Encrypt local backup before backing up as shown in the iamge below .itunes encrypt backup
  2. Download the iOS 9.0.2 IPSW firmware file for your specific iOS device model.
  3. Now enable DFU mode in your iOS device. For doing this, plug in your iOS device to your computer and open iTunes. Now press down Home and Power buttons together on your iOS device. After around 10 seconds, let go of the Power button but keep pressing down the Home button until you get a confirmation from iTunes that your device is in DFU mode. dfu iphone 6 plus ios 9

  1. I have not problem whit jailbreak 9 van pangu i have installed activator, bootsound, dynamictext, glowboard ,imageboard, screensaver, springsound, unlocksound, whatsappcustomezer, winterboard,en xstatuscolor no problems on ios 9.0.2 i have only problem whit bootlogo and intelliscreen don’t work on ios 9.0.2 .gr.manuella

    1. So you were able to install imageboard with no issues? I installed it and my Cydia crashes afterwards. Did you have to do anything to do so? Thank you. :)

  2. I unjailbroke my phone because after the jailbreak I could not access notifications in settings and wifi was also disabled and not able to be changed. All other options in settings worked but I also had an issue where trying to reply to an email the cursor would jump randomly around the screen and then send while still in the middle of writing -- I tried this three times before I gave up.

    Anyone else have these issues?

  3. I made all the steps suggested, but Cydia not appear (this in case a new installation of IOS 9.0.2). If I made the same thing after having backup data from iTunes the iPhone not restart and freeze.

  4. is all ready installed but if I try to install a tweak or what ever I want it does not work and wifi2me same thing and have alot more issues.
in advance thank you for all your help.
