iOS 9.2.1 Jailbreak

For some people, the lack of jailbreaks in the few months has been irritating; for others, it’s a clear sign that Apple has finally won, that they have managed to put a stop to jailbreaking at long last. Pangu doesn’t see it that way and they certainly are not giving in without a fight. As well as showing off an iOS 10 Jailbreak at MOSEC in early July, they also apparently hinted at a new jailbreak for iOS 9.2 upwards. They didn’t give any idea as to when it would be released but we haven’t had to wait for too long because today we can announce PPHelper, the new iOS 9.2.1 jailbreak. The jailbreak is a combined effort from Pangu and PP Assistant but, unfortunately, it isn’t going to work for everyone.

  1. Really…… First they said they weren’t gonna jailbreak iOS 9.1 and now they’re saying they’re gonna wait until 9.2.1?!?!?!? Come on. They keep pushing it off. Why? Why wait this long for a jailbreak? It shouldn’t get pushed to 9.2.1

      1. It doesn’t work she I tap it it comes back to the website I’m on iOS 9.2.1 iPod touch please help

      2. Downgrading is not an option anymore. Apple stopped signing firmwares that are under 9.1

        Sincerely Royce

      3. Guys I’ve added it on home and it’s like a troll it just is a book mark please help I’m on IOS 9.2.1 iPod touch

      4. Jailbreak isn’t out as of right now. That app thing that you have on your homescreen is only a picture of the cydia app that takes you to this website. Subscribe to their emails so that you can know when the real ios 9.2.1 jailbreak is released.

    1. yes it should. It is their job to jailbreak the most recent ios. therefore if they release it, apple has the privledge to see what they did wrong so they can change the exploits in the newer software.

  3. If the exploit exists on iOS 9.2.1 , it means its exists on iOS 9.2 and iOS 9.1 aswell and the upcoming jailbreak should be backward compatible .

  4. Duh of course Apple would be stronger than pangu and in reality if they wanted to they could jailbreak any software they wanted to but too bad apple isn’t cool like that even though hands down would kill every other phone on the market.

  5. They are just wasting time and giving excuse every time.
First they 9.1 then they wait for 9.2 now 9.2.1 get released. Now what??????????

  6. iOS 9.2.1 is out I’m using it anyone else noticed how they said “what if we told you 9.2 was jail broken” they’re not even trying anymore just leading people on

  7. U Guys!!’ IOS 9.1.2 has been jailbroken. But the team still has to make the jailbreak installer work properly. The jailbreak should be released in 2- 6 days..

    1. 9.2.1 has been jailbroken for quite some time, but the autistic little brat Luca Todesco won’t release the source code of the exploit.

  8. There is a few bugs in iOS 9.2.1 that I see on my moms phone, iPhone 6 Plus. it has to do with the iCloud music library not being able to turn off. I myself have not updated since 9.1 so I am ready for a jailbreak just cause I want a customized phone to my liking.

There will be no Jailbreak for 9.2 or 9.2.1, Pangu will release a Jailbreak for 9.3 AROUND NEXT MONTH.

So you guys can wait a bit longer. No need to waste our time here everyday.

    1. Looks like the jailbreak community will meet hes end soon, as jailbreaks is getting more and more complicated and unmotivated as before, shame cus I use JB since my firt iphone 3, and have a hard time using iphones without it.

  11. This just in, Apple has gotten REALLY good at preventing jailbreaks. No longer will you be able to get a jb but bj’s will available upon request at your local Apple store.

  12. Well I’m just about to upgrade to 9.2.1 has enough of the game that is waiting, seen as they won’t release a jb until ios 9.3 drops in the publics hands we all might as well go ahead and bow down.

  13. Well, for sure waiting for a JB for the 9.2.1 is totally useles bc the release of the 9.3 is quit soon so why loosing time with that just lol

Have a good day loosing time tho

    No offense ofc

  14. So, I use an iPad Air running iOS 9.2.1 and I have followed the steps above, I have closed Safari, clicked Cydia, and guess what happened. It just took me here.

    1. Yah normal. That is just a bookmark to keep you updated of the future jailbreak that may happen! Isn’t a jailbreak. If you have read it properly you would be able to understand that :)
      Best wishes

  15. So if you need full detailed instructions with pictures on how to bookmark a page, I don’t think you will know what to do with a jailbreak

  16. I’ve tried many times to jailbreak my phone and iPod and it never works it’s a huge joke unless someone else can tell me how to get it done or do it for me

    1. There is no jailbreak to this day for firmware 9.1 and above. Last one was 9.0.2 witch is no langer signed by Apple and there for no way to still get it on your idevice.

  17. New Jailbreak Is Going To Release Today! At 18:30 Will Be Here Download Link For iOS 9.1-9.2 And One For iOS 9.2.1. Thanks To Luca Todesco For His Support With This JailBreak. Now, Just Wait :)

  18. We are really sorry to say that there will be no jailbreak for ios after 9.1. So please don’t waste your valuable time searching for it.

      1. Either pangu ( or taig ( will release a jailbreak that will have backwards compatability for ios 9.2 (or if it doesn’t, just upgrade to the version that it does support while its still signed by Apple)

  19. Cydia died already.. New one is Sidia.. 1 download for $12.99 per iDevice.. Will be released on start 15 Feb 2016..😊

  20. This is never going to come out. They just want to egg us on. You guys are better off downgrading your phones and doing it that way. It’s the only way possible

  21. Yeah well I’m still trying to figure out how to downgrade so I can put this cydia app on my phone so I can jailbreak this sprint 6s plus phone but every turn appears a new obstacle can anybody help?

    1. If you try to install an ios9.2.1 ISPW on your phone, your phone will check Apple’s servers to see if it is still signed (which of course it isn’t). Then your phone will return with an error. There isn’t a way around this either. You really shouldn’t update your phone if you want to jailbreak.

  22. I have a question for a smart person to answer.
If a jailbreak for version 9.2.1 is released, would I be able to downgrade my iOS to an earlier version, like 9.1 with the jailbreak installed (although Apple has stopped signing earlier versions)? Answer me pleeeeaaaase!!

  23. All you need ia to read instruction and you will know all about cydia, 9.0.2 is the latest higher version that can be jb, 9.1 9.2 & 9.2.1 is cusia demo only that can be dl, wait for release for next said higher ios version

  24. The steps shown in ios 9.2.1 jailbreak isin’t working !
It’s just placing a bookmar to this page on my home screen !!
No cydia application is downloaded on my home screen !!

  25. Is IOS 9.2.1 be jailbroken or not!? Why posting so much unwanted information? Just give us the facts, lose the not interesting part.

  26. Why are Apple just not make a program to change Thames and few other options like an android phones than people won’t need to jailbreak

  27. sorry about the delays of the jailbreak. We are testing our 9.2.1 jailbreak on some iPhones. They all came back as a success. So keep your hopes up!

  28. As far as i can see here apple & jailbreakers are united and playing a dirty game with iphone users…
It’s such a deception to cover their deals together.
The jailbreak is gonna be available when apple is gonna give them the permission to publish it..
Every day it becomes more obvious and clearer specially for the old iphone expert users…

  29. Most of you people need to pipe down. Stop acting like they owe you a Jailbreak, you don’t deserve it. If you buy an iPhone just for jailbreak, get an android because this isn’t a integral part of an iPhone, you’re just too ignorant to see that.

  30. Сделайте для Васька специально Джейл. А то он ноет в соседнем топике, что денег ему хватает на приложения, но пупсы важнее, поэтому он и хочет джейл поставить. Долбоебизм среди русских крепчает.

  31. This wait is getting ridiculous, need to jail brake my old 4s so I can downgrade it from iOS 9.2.1 to last iOS 6…

  32. Заебись, теперь у меня есть сидия. И похуй что это прикол.

  33. I’m just starting to think jailbreaking is a thing of the past now . If I could get a none jail broken version of Moviebox to stay stable for any decent length of time I don’t think I would even bother to break any more

  34. Jb 9.2.1 released works ?
I only want JB my iPhone 6 to play with Pokémon gba emulator… Do you have an other solution for my pb ?

  35. So confusing. Seems like Apple are winning the Vulnerability war as it appears jailbreaks are far and few. I don’t get it. Why attempt to jailbreak an ios system and not release it? Let alone, if you are going to do it in your private capacity, then why even mention it? It’s not like the hacker is going to win an Oscar. Nobody cares.

So what do you do? Stay on 9.2.1? Can you even go to 9.3 now that 9.3.1 is available?!
