Apple has been updating iOS 9 quite a lot and has been introducing new features on its way. The first iOS 9.3 beta was rolled out for the developers as well as the public testers recently, and it brought some major changes. One of those changes included a new Quick Action for the Calculator app. This action allows you to use 3D Touch for copying the last result of your calculation. This neat little action can actually prove very helpful to those who use the Calculator app a lot for important calculations. Well, a new jailbreak tweak brings the same feature to devices having iOS 9 and iOS 9.0.2 Jailbreak .

Called as CalculatorCopy, the new tweak allows you to use the new Quick Action for the Calculator app in the previous iOS devices that do not support 3D Touch. Interested? Here are the features of the tweak.
- Usually, when you are using the stock Calculator app for performing some calculations, the method to copy the result is different. You need to press and hold on the result and then select Copy. However, the CalculatorCopy tweak makes it easier for the older iPhones to copy the result in 3D Touch style.
- The new Quick Action gesture has been introduced by iOS 9.3 in the new iPhones that come with 3D Touch. But CalculatorCopy emulates this action on the older iOS devices very cleverly. The original function needs you to 3D Touch on the icon of the Calculator app and then choose Copy Last Result.
- The Quick Action for the calculator app is available in the iPhone 6s and 6s Plus without jailbreaking. But for all the older iOS devices, you need to jailbreak and install the CalculatorCopy tweak to use this feature. However, you also need to first install a 3D Touch-mimicking tweak like RevealMenu that adds 3D Touch-like functionality to older iOS devices.
- After you install CalculatorCopy on your iPhone or iPad, you don’t need to configure any other settings. You just need to perform the 3D Touch gesture on the Calculator app icon and you can use the new Quick Action.
The CalculatorCopy tweak is not as great or large as you might have imagined. But it is still worthy of appreciation, and the developers deserve an applause for bringing the new features to the older devices for the sake of jailbreak users. So if you use the Calculator app on a daily basis for calculations, then you should surely try out CalculatorCopy. The tweak is available on the BigBoss repo in Cydia for free and works with iOS 9 devices.
