Cydia Compatible Tweaks

Luca Todesco has surprised the whole jailbreak community by releasing the iOS 10.2 Jailbreak suddenly yesterday. This move from Luca was totally unexpected and everybody was of the belief that a no iOS 10.2 jailbreak would not come. Nevertheless, iOS users can jailbreak their iOS 10 upto iOS 10.2 devices now with Yalu Jailbreak tool.

Meanwhile, Cydia creator Jay Freeman aka saurik has updated Cydia Installer and Cydia Substrate to make Cydia work with iOS 10.2 flawlessly. The immediate release of the updated Cydia after iOS 10.2 jailbreak indicates that Saurik knew about Luca’s plans beforehand. However, we doubt whether Cydia tweak developers knew about the jailbreak release, which is why they need to update their jailbreak apps very quickly.

iOS 10.2 is pretty new and there are hardly any new jailbreak tweaks updated for the firmware. Also, as the Yalu Jailbreak  is fresh and new, not all the jailbreak tweaks will be compatible with iOS 10.2. Installing such incompatible tweaks may cause the device to go into Reboot loops, or may force you to restore the device once again. Hence you need to be careful while installing tweaks on iOS 10.2.

To help you out with this, we have combine a list of the supported jailbreak tweaks that will work with iOS 10.2 jailbreak. Please note that the list is not exhaustive and new jailbreak apps will be added as soon as their compatibility with iOS 10.2 gets confirmed.

  1. jeah, after i installed Cydia successful on my iphone 4s with IOS 9.0.2, i started the app.
    Everthing worked.
But after i tryed to download and install a cydia tweak, there i only read: Loading…
    And that will never end.
I need to press the power and home button to get my iphone working.
currently, i cant install or deinstall any tweak without the infintiy loading loop.

  2. for me the first time after install cydia, mi phone crash(iphone 5s). :( now il’ll try to reinstal again..

  4. Yeah but pangu 1.0.1 messed up the Mobile Command Line it comes up with the error “Killed: 9” when trying to execute some commands and it has bugs I had to reset a lot and I’m jail broken with Pangu right now but I’ma unjailbreak when TaiG 9 comes out with a jailbreak and jailbreak with that

    • if i where u i wouuld jailbreak it and keep it one of these days apple closes the windows for 9.0.2 and you could be unjailbroken for a time comming.

but i like to test apps and jailbreaks and if have not encountered any issues at all and try’d both 1.0 / 1.0.1 and think im gonna try the other one too

  6. I jailbreak succesfully 5S IOS9.3.2 then tested some not approved 9.3.2 tweak and it broke my jailbreak ( it restart in safemode from Substrate Safe mode ).Removing most tweak did not fix-it for other tweak to work, Cydia was working so i used Cydia Eraser to return to 9.3.2 but it can’t be Jailbroken again ( with Pangu or other )so i am waiting to go the the next Jailbreak. So it is not so easy to test if tweak work with the latest IOS.
