It’s been some time since we last saw a jailbreak and some users are beginning to wonder if they will ever be able to modify their iOS devices again. The stock iOS does leave a little to be desired, especially for those who are used to jailbreaking and used to being able to modify the apps so they work the way they want them to. Of course there are also those who just don’t want to jailbreak but would still like their apps to be a bit more functional. The answer could lie in an app called Extensify.

What Does Extensify Do ?
Extensify is similar to an app store for tweaks and it was developed by Kevin Ko and Majd Alfhaily. It doesn’t contain tweaks like you would expect to find in Cydia simply because it doesn’t go as far as jailbreaking does when it comes to modifying apps. None of the tweaks in Extensify actually touch any part of the iOS, they only provide modifications to stock apps or those that have been downloaded from the official iOS app store.
Simply said, Extensify is for all those who either don’t want to jailbreak and want to remain on stock iOS, or who are waiting for the next jailbreak to release and do not want to stay away from tweaks in the meantime.
The tweaks that are in Extensify are known as Exos [image below] and there are quite a few different ones for a wide range of different apps. It’s a bit like a pick and mix store – you choose the Exos that you want and add them to a queue, a “build” list. You can put Exos for many different kinds of apps into the same build list and, when you are finished, Extensify will build you some apps.
When these apps are downloaded, you are not going to be replacing any apps, nor will you be modifying them in any way. Instead, you will get a second version of the app, one that has been modified with the features that you want. It will run beside the original app, not instead of, giving you the option of which one you want to use at any given time.
How to Download Extensify :
Extensify is only available to a select group of testers at this stage and to join that list, you must go over to their website [ ext link – Extensify ] and sign up, in the hopes that they will pick you for the group. It isn’t free, it will cost $8.99 for a 3-month access period, only fair when you consider the amount of work that has gone into the app and what it can do for you. There is one other way and that is by using the following steps to get Extensify onto your home screen for Free .

As of now, the developers of Extensify have offered soft launch of the Extensify app. You can enroll your name for the program, and the users are selected randomly. The very small number of selected users then receive the means to Download Extensify [ext link] and test the apps, and when all seems okay.
