Pangu is, without a doubt, one of the top jailbreak teams and has been the most active in recent years. They are known for producing jailbreaks soon after a new iOS version is released and that is why the jailbreak community is getting somewhat restless. At the beginning of July, Pangu co-hosted the one-day Mobile Security Conference [ MOSEC ] in Shanghai and, as well as demonstrating an iOS 10 jailbreak, there were also hints of an iOS 9.3.3 jailbreak at some time in the near future. Well, that near future has arrived and we now have, courtesy of Pangu and PP Assistant, a brand new iOS 9.3.3 jailbreak tool called PPHelper.

Things to Know :
For those of you that have held off on updating to iOS 9.3.3 download , you can now go ahead and do so, knowing that you can jailbreak afterward. Before you do, though, you need to be aware of three things about PPHelper :
- At the moment it is
only in Chinesealthough we are assured that an English version will be released soon. Update : English version released in the form of Cydia Impactor.
- It will only work on 64-bit devices. See list below
- It will
only work on the Windowsoperating system at this stage. As and when a Mac version is release, we’ll provide you with the download links. Update : Cydia Impactor linked above works on Mac and Windows.
Updating to iOS 9.3.3 is easy but do make sure you use one of the iTunes methods to do it, not OTA as this does not work with jailbreaks.
iOS 9.3.3 Jailbreak Supported Devices :
At this moment in time, PPHelper will only work on 64-bit devices and we don’t know whether it will be tweaked to work on the older 32-bit ones or not. So, if your device does not appear on the list below, you are out of luck at the moment :
- iPhone 5S, 6, 6 Plus, 6S, 6S Plus, SE
- iPad Air, Air 2
- iPad Mini 2, Mini 3
- iPad Pro
- iPod Touch 6
